How it works

How to organise the pages of a PDF

Every page is shown as a thumbnail. When you save, the real pages are copied into a new PDF in the order and rotation you set, and any page numbers or watermark are added on top.

01

Add your PDFs

One file or several; every page appears as a thumbnail.

02

Arrange the pages

Drag, rotate, delete, duplicate or select pages.

03

Save

As one PDF, split into files, or just the selected pages.

Tips

Getting the pages right

A few shortcuts for common jobs.

  • Scanned pages in the wrong order? If a stack was scanned last page first, press Reverse once. Then drag any stragglers into place.
  • Select, then actTap several pages so they show a tick, then rotate, duplicate or delete them all in one go. "Select all / none" flips every page at once.
  • Splitting a long PDF"Split into files" with 1 page each makes one PDF per page. Put the pages in order first: the files follow the order on screen.
  • Numbers that match a printed documentUse "Start at" to carry on numbering from another document, for example starting at 12 for an appendix.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What you can do with the pages, and what happens when you save.

What can I do to the pages?
Reorder them (drag, or use the arrows under each page on a phone), rotate them left or right, delete them, and duplicate selected pages. Select several pages to rotate or delete them all at once. You can also add more PDFs to merge them in, and reverse the whole order.
How do I split a PDF here?
Choose Split into files and say how many pages go in each file: 1 makes one PDF per page, 2 makes files of two pages, and so on. The files come back together in a .zip, in the order shown on screen.
How do I keep only some pages?
Tap the pages you want so they show a tick, then choose Selected pages only. Only those pages are saved, in the order shown.
Can I add page numbers and a watermark at the same time?
Yes. Tick Add page numbers (bottom left, centre or right, as “3” or “Page 3 of 10”, starting from any number) and Add a watermark (your own text across each page, as faint or strong as you like). Both are added as you save, and they sit the right way up even on pages you’ve rotated.
Does it change the quality of my pages?
No. The real pages are copied across, so text stays sharp and selectable, and links and images are unchanged. The thumbnails are only previews.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Your PDFs are opened, organised and saved inside your browser tab, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I organise a password-protected PDF?
Not until it’s unlocked. Use Unlock PDF with the password first, then add the unlocked copy here.
